Joan Tallan is an Ohio based artist and art educator most known for her printmaking. Tallan studied ceramics at the State University of New York. She earned a master’s degree in art education from Wright State University and a Master of Art degree in art therapy from George Washington University. Tallan has exhibited throughout the United States and abroad, including with the Ohio Arts Council printmakers exchange in Dresden, Germany in 2001 and the Ohio Printmakers Exchange exhibited in Korea in 2003.
