Victorian Wurlitzer Highly Carved Upright Piano

A stunning and rare Victorian upright piano produced by the Wurlitzer Piano Company of Cincinnati Ohio, circa 1910-1920, serial # 38293. The highly carved Renaissance Revival – style mahogany cabinet was referred to as ’Old Man of the Mountain” with detailed faces carved into the fronts of the pillars,, on the monopodium legs and finished with scaled claw feet. Gold Script inside the case displays “Highest Award Strauch Bros. New York Columbian Exposition 1893” The Piano also comes with piano bench, featuring lift top storage and custom seat cushion.
The piano has been in its current estate since 1982 when it was bought at the original owners family estate sale. Owners will include handwritten history of the pianos origin to the highest bidder.
