An iconic and significant framed photograph of Babe Ruth’s ‘Farewell Speech’ held at Yankees Stadium. This framed photograph is a copy of the original that can be seen at the National Baseball Hall of Fame Babe Ruth exhibit at Cooperstown and the Smithsonian Institute. The original photograph was taken on June 13, 1948, at Yankee Stadium’ the House that Ruth Built.’ It was the 25th anniversary of the stadium and the day the Babe Ruth’s number was retired. Titled ‘The Babe Bows Out’ Nat Fein won a Pulitzer Prize for his work. This magnificent and historic photograph is featured in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the Smithsonian Institute and was signed by photographer Nat Fein.
