"Ozma of Oz" by L. Frank Baum, circa 1913

Item Details

A circa 1913 edition of Ozma of Oz by L. Frank Baum, the third book in the beloved Oz series. Seems to be a combination of printer’s pages with some from an earlier state as publisher’s advertisements facing the half title includes only two titles ending with John Dough and the Cherub, however, the publisher’s advertisements at the end of the book run through The Patchwork Girl of Oz. Likely indicating a release date circa 1913. Other points include fifth line of ’Author’s Note’ on p. [ 11 ] is missing the ‘O’ in Ozma, the illustration on page [ 221 ] is in black and white and endpapers are blank. Secondary binding state with ‘Reilly & | Britton’ on lower spine, without ‘Co.’ ( Bibliographia Oziana p. 50-53)
