Condition
- cracks, chipping, and scratches to frame finish and molding, with missing portions of gesso ornamentation to all corners and lower left and left center of side rails; nail hole to lower center in gesso; accretion, discoloration, and craquelure throughout the composition, with flaking paint along horizontal center line; foxing, wear, discoloration, and accretions to the verso; restoration includes overpainting to center of sky and canvas relining and re-stretching.
