American printmaker Tom Huck is particularly known for his large-scale satirical prints and illustrations, many of which have been featured in The Village Voice, The Riverfront Times, and the Minneapolis City Pages, among other publications. He received his BFA in Drawing at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and his MFA in Printmaking at Washington University in St. Louis. Some of his artistic influences include the work of Albrecht Dürer, José Guadalupe Posada, R. Crumb, and Honoré Daumier. Huck regularly contributes to BLAB! of Fantagraphics Books, and his work has been collected and exhibited by numerous institutions including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Library of Congress, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Fogg Art Museum, among many others. The artist currently lives and works in St. Louis where he runs his print shop Evil Prints.
