1915 Anheuser-Busch Metal Lithographic Sign Featuring Stork and Doctor

An antique dated 1915 pre-prohibition advertising sign featuring ‘Dr. Stork’ Malt Nutrine Department with the makers mark in the lower left corner that reads ‘1915 Anheuser-Bush St. Louis.’ This advertising sign is presented in a tin bevel frame. Information on the verso gives historical background and reference to the medical profession in the United States for utilization in their office or reception area. Doctors would send in suggested names of the sign and the one that was chosen would win $250 in gold. There are remnants of cloth string on the verso for mounting purposes.
