A set of eight Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs. These antique chairs by an unknown cabinetmaker feature a heavily carved yoked crest rail with rounded ears and naturalistic foliage, a ribbon and tassel carved openwork splat, a straight seat apron, carved cabriole legs, with ball and claw feet. The seats are upholstered in a light sage and golden tone damask fabric. The set includes two armchairs and six side chairs. No manufacturer markings.
