An original woodblock print by master of the Japanese ukiyo-e genre Keisai Eisen (1790-1848), an intriguing piece depicting a geisha wearing a black and white checkered kimono, a rather beguiled look upon her face. A period printing, the piece on fine rice paper, in a painted wooden frame with matting.

Condition

Hinged on the backing paper, with heavy toning, some soil, minor wear to the frame
