Henri Le Riche Etching of Notre Dame

A beautifully framed signed etching of Notre Dame by Henri Le Riche (French 1868-1944). Le Riche studied in Paris under Bourguereau and Robert-Fleury and was widely exhibited in the 1890s. Notre Dame was a favorite image of his and this etching is done in soft colors with the twin spires of the well recognized cathedral seen in the misty background. The artist pencil signed the etching in the lower left corner and is housed in a fabulous vintage Florentine frame with mirrored panels and gold gilt gesso over wood.
Condition
The etching is in very good condition. The frame has two mirrored panels that are cracked and several spots on the gold gilding need touch up but these issues are minor and do not detract from the overall appearance.
