An oil painting on canvas board by listed artist Blanca Will (1881 – 1978). This painting utilizes broad sweeping strokes to create a desert landscape with a vast sky. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature.

Blanca Will is known primarily as a sculptor but also worked in painting, printmaking and design as well as being an art educator. She traveled between New York, Arkansas and Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she association with the Transcendentalist art colony. Her works can be found in both private and public collections including the Memorial Art Gallery, University of Arkansas and University of Rochester.
