Metal Content of half dime: 90% silver, 10% copper. Weight of half dime: approx. 1.24 grams. Metal Content of 1852 trimes: 75% silver, 25% copper. Metal Content of 1856 trime: 90% silver, 10% copper. Weight of 1852 trimes: approx. 0.8 grams (each). Weight of 1856 trime: approx. 0.75 grams. Coins are circulated.
