A group of ancient Roman and Byzantine coins. Lot includes a Byzantine Class A2 ‘anonymous’ follis struck under Basil II ca. 976 A.D., a small Byzantine bronze coin, nine small AE3 and AE4 Roman Imperial bronze coins dating to ca. 250 to 400 A.D., and an unknown bronze coin with a bearded bust on the obverse and a crown on the reverse, most likely dating to ca. 1500 to 1700. Coins are heavily circulated.
