Hummel Welcome Spring

A Hummel Welcome Spring figurine (HUM 472) is the eighth edition of the Century Collection, was released in 1993, and was modeled by master sculptor Helmut Fishcer in 1990. The Welcome Spring figurine depicts two young girls holding hands in-front of a blooming cherry blossom pointing out a chirping black bird. It is marked to the bottom with the blue Century Collection stamp with ‘Frϋlingstanz’ and ‘Welcome Spring,’ and the trademark (TMK7). It also has VMO, 917, and the artist’s signature in black. These special issues were not produced beyond the year of release. Their special back stamp (see photos) exemplifies that.

Condition

This piece is in excellent condition with no crazing, fading or chips.
