A 1793 Eames, Holland and Andrews Petersfield, (Hampshire) Conder Halfpenny British token. Obverse: Mounted dragoon presenting sword, on horse trotting to left, “PETERSFIELD”. Reverse: A stork on a tuft of marshy ground, “PROMISSORY HALFPENNY 1793”. Edge inscription: “EAMES . HOLLAND & ANDREWS PETERSFIELD – X -”. This token served three tradesmen in Petersfield, Hampshire. Metal Content: copper. Diameter: 28.8 mm. Weight: 10 grams. Token is lightly circulated.
