Item Details
An antique portrait lens by Jamin and Darlot of Paris, France featuring all brass construction and mounted on a wooden plate in dark mahogany finish. Alphonse Darlot received many honors for his optical achievements, including a silver medal from the Paris International Exhibition in 1867 and France’s highest honor, the Knight of the Legion of Honor medal, in 1892.
