Berkey & Gay Hutch
Item Details
A Berkey & Gay Jacobean Revival oak hutch, circa 1920-1940’s. The oak hutch has a molded top, a blind center door featuring burled veneer and a lovely carved flower with textured background. The door opens with a key (key present) and has one shelf to inside. The door is flanked by applied turned wood design. There is one large drawer in the style of two drawers with burled wood veneer accents to front, oval wood pulls and machine cut dovetail construction. The piece is finished with pleasant melon blossom turned wood legs, a center stretcher and arrow feet to the front.
Condition
Overall good – the applied linear and dot accent around edge is missing a few sections. One section is in cabinet and needs to be re-applied.
