- overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/small chips, shrinkage cracks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; refinished and with scattered wear/losses; handles and interior lockplate (comes with a working key) are associated/later; top of upper section with some stains and back edge has been shortened/cutout; some later nail reinforcements (most notably to backboards and to drawer secondaries); some of the drawer runners have been built up; some former pest damage (worming) with associated marks and losses (mostly to secondaries); lower section with a repair above front right leg and to back right foot; case as a whole with a slight wobble; other possible imperfections, wear, and repairs/restorations.
