Rosemary Zwick was a multimedia artist known for her paintings, sculptures, ceramics, woodblocks, and jewelry in various abstract styles. She studied with several renowned artists including Philip Guston and Humberto Albrizio at the University of Iowa, and Max Kah at the Art Institute of Chicago. Zwick furthered her studies at DePaul University in the late 1940s, and later at the University of Illinois in the late 1970s. In addition to the Art Institute of Chicago, her work has been exhibited by multiple institutions including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art, among others.
