A Herend Hungary handpainted porcelain Kangaroo with Joey figurine. This figurine depicts a mother kangaroo holding her baby ‘Joey’ in her pouch. The mother kangaroo is garnished with a blue toned fishnet pattern whereas the infant is embellished in a rust toned fishnet pattern. Both mother and child have gilded snouts and feet. Marked to the underside is the Herend stamp, ‘handpainted’ and production numbers.
