Born in the Bronx, Arnold Weber acquired degrees from Columbia University, the New School, and the Cooper Union Art School. For four years, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and attained the rank of corporeal. He then worked as a graphic artist for the Army Corps of Engineers for thirty-five years. He is particularly known for his abstract paintings often exhibiting bold forms and vibrant colors.

- discoloration to painting; edge wear to canvas; stretcher marks present; twist warping to structure of canvas stretcher; foxing and water stains to verso of canvas; accretion throughout; craquelure and flaking paint to upper left in figure’s faces.
