- a 5" long scratch to lower left; a .5" long scratch within trees to center left; an area of inpainting to lower left under children; an area of inpainting to woman’s face at lower right; heavy craquelure throughout painting surface; faint scratches throughout; areas of minor flaking; exposed canvas surrounding edge is discolored from previous framing; heavy residue and accretions throughout; loss, flaking, and discoloration throughout paper labels.
