Condition
- a .25" area of indentation to gesso within sky at center right; two 1" and 1.5" long scratches within sky near upper edge; an area of separation and flaking to paint within sky at right center; an area of flaking and loss to sail at left center; heavy craquelure throughout surface; spots of dark discoloration throughout surface; painting has been removed and re-mounted on canvas; a banding of scuffs and residue encompassing painting edge from previous framing; heavy loss, flaking, and darkening to paper labels; heavy dust and accretions throughout piece.
