A 1906 personally signed W.F. Cody ‘Buffalo Bill’ cabinet photograph. One of America’s greatest showman and Western frontiersman, this antique photograph portrays William Cody better known as ‘Buffalo Bill,’ in a side pose wearing a wide brim Western-style hat. With his trademark handlebar mustache and goatee, W.F. Cody’s signature was done in thick black ink. The notations and inscription were defined to be another handwriting. This cabinet photograph was released by ‘Marceau Studio’ of New York. stamped on the backside. There is an inscription that appears to read ‘Miss Bessie Brussels, 17th, 1906’ located at the bottom and below the signature. W.F. Cody’s signature has received a visual pass from a third party authenticator and comes housed in a protective plastic sleeve with reinforced cardboard backing.
