A green bonnet top French Regency style display cabinet by John Widdicomb, circa 1960s. This two piece illuminated curio or china cabinet features a dramatic bonnet, detailed in a green painted finish, a hand-painted floral design and gilt accents. The cabinet includes two arched upper doors with metal screen accents, and opens to three glass interior shelves. The lower cabinet includes two doors that open to a single storage area, over a full width bracket base. Marked ‘John Widdicomb’ to the verso.
