A Henry Hill Lufthansa heist watercolor and gouache painting. Henry Hill (1943 – 2012) was an American mobster associated with the Lucchese crime family and later an FBI informant. On December 11, 1978 an estimated $5.875 million was stole during the Lufthansa heist at John F. Kennedy International Airport. At the time it was the large cash robbery in America and was used as the plot for films such as Goodfellas (1990).
