Richard Busebaum was a Cincinnati-based artist and teacher. He was a member of the Cincinnati Arts Club and especially known for his impressionistic landscapes.
Condition
- heavy discoloration to painting and accretion to surface; craquelure throughout; frame rub to edges of canvas, with some over-painted restoration; signature appears to have been highlighted with later painting over the original; wear and chips to frame, notable with loss of molding to lower corners and separation of corner joins; foxing and discoloration to verso of canvas.
