Condition
- craquelure throughout painting; evidence of restoration includes canvas relining and restretching with wax layer to verso, uneven cleaning of discolored varnish, and overpainting layered throughout, notable in dime-sized area to cheek beneath right eye and across right eyebrow; scuff marks, scratching, and loss of gilt finish to frame throughout, with edge and corner wear resulting in some chips to gesso surface; discoloration present to verso; corner joins do not meet evenly.
