New York Empire Gilt-Stenciled Mahogany and Marble-Top Pier Table, Circa 1825
Item Details
Possibly from the workshop of Deming & Bulkley, the table features a black marble top above a stenciled frieze and a pair of white marble columns with gilt capitals and paw feet. The base is further embellished with a mirrored back and cornucopia foot returns.

- severe damage to the front right column/leg; large crack to marble top runs entire length front to back (needs professional restoration); chips and sharp edges to surface of marble top; warped back wood panel; other nicks, scratches, discoloration, and abrasions consistent with age and use.
