Item Details

An antique steamer trunk by Louis Vuitton, late 19th century. The trunk features an exterior covered in the classic Louis Vuitton Damier checkered canvas with brass staves, trim and hardware. Additionally, it has three front latches and lateral-mounted, brass handles. The interior retains a mostly intact label. There are additional maker’s marks to the latches and handles as well as to the runners on the underside. No key is included.
