Item Details

A 1996 World Series New York Yankees Championship display case that holds four single signed baseballs. The signatures and the type of baseball signed are as listed: Derek Jeter on an American League baseball; Joe Torre on a 1996 World Series baseball; Andy Pettitte on an American League baseball and John Wetteland on a 1996 World Series baseball. Derek Jeter’s signature was given a ‘visual pass’, but the inscription below his signature (‘R.O.Y ’96) was not put there by Jeter. Torre, Pettitte and Wetteland’s signatures and inscriptions have not been authenticated. The wood base display case has black metal nameplates, one for each player and a center plate that has ‘New York Yankees 1996 World Series Champions’. The case has a removable acrylic cover and each baseball sits on a hard gold-tone plastic baseball glove.

Derek Jeter’s signature only:

• The autograph(s) on this item were visually inspected by a third party authenticator and have received a “pass” in their pass/fail visual inspection test. The item will be accompanied by an Auction Letter of Authenticity (ALOA), which will be mailed directly to the winning bidder.
