An oil painting on board by British artist Douglas Falconer titled Loch Tay and Ben More: Perthshire Scotland. Early in his career, Douglas Falconer was an established furniture designer, employed with important commissions including remaking a bomb damaged rostrum at Christie’s auction house. He eventually was recognized for his picturesque landscape paintings, often featuring the Lake District, loch, and mountains in Scotland.
