An original duplicate 1932 prohibition era whiskey prescription from the Cincinnati area. The prescription was for a half pint of whiskey for a St. Bernard, Ohio resident named Herbert (surname illegible) and prescribed by a doctor (name illegible) at 137 Vine Street, Reading, Ohio on October 27, 1932, and was filled the same day by Pharmacist, J. A. Harrigan, of Charles Kattman’s Drug Store, in Reading, OH. It is watermarked ‘INDUSTRIAL ALCOHOL’. This was a pharmacist’s duplicate copy and has instructions printed to the back with one part stating ‘This duplicate prescription must be retained by the druggist as a permanent record, open to inspection by Federal Officers’, the top copy was then sent to the government.

- has overall wrinkles/bends, a couple of spots, border wear and some of the doctors writing is light due to the use of carbon paper.
