A pairing of two books on firearms featuring A History of the Colt Revolver. Each volume is bound in cloth covered boards, features black on white illustrations throughout the text. The 1940 edition of A History of The Colt Revolver retains its original dust jacket and features a frontispiece of Sam Colt. The 1913 edition of A History of Firearms features forty-one half-tone and line plates including a frontispiece with a detailed explanation, has untrimmed fore and bottom text edges and is missing its dust jacket.
