The 1940 edition of A History of The Colt Revolver retains its original dust jacket and features a frontispiece of Sam Colt. The 1913 edition of A History of Firearms features forty-one half-tone and line plates including a frontispiece with a detailed explanation, has untrimmed fore and bottom text edges and is missing its dust jacket.
