Alyssa Coler was born in Lakeland, Florida before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio when she was very young. There, she earned her BFA in both printmaking and photography from Miami University in Oxford. Her works focus primarily on locations, both lithographic prints and photography capturing images of places she has been, while also branching out with figural images. Her photographs are taken with different types of film as well as digital, though large format cameras are her passion. She currently works in Cincinnati with the hope of future travels to inspire more works.
