A 1933 edition of German War Birds by Vigilant, the pen name for Claude Sykes. This volume chronicles the combat stories of WWI fighter pilots. The frontispiece is of Manfred Von Richthofen, the ‘Red Baron’. Additional photographs are presented throughout the text featuring Max Immelmann, the first German flying ace of WWI, and Oswald Boelcke, known as the ‘Father of Air Fighting Tactics’ and others.
