Barnett was an American modernist still life painter, born on the east coast, eventually moving to Cincinnati to become the Dean of the Art Academy.

Deaccessioned from the Art Academy of Cincinnati’s Collection. Proceeds to benefit future student programs. Founded in 1869, The Art Academy of Cincinnati is celebrating their 150th anniversary this year through the sale of limited works in the Collection.

Condition

- slight buckle to the lower right corner of painting; small gap to the upper left corner of canvas and frame; nicks and finish loss to frame.
