Born in Germany, Klaus Otten obtained a Graduate Degree in Engineering. During the mid-1950s, he migrated to the Dayton, Ohio area and took up sculpting and photography in his spare time. Otten traveled intensively, which informed his artistic endeavors. Otten exhibited often in Ohio and his works are held in private collections.
