A framed set of six obsolete Cochituate Bank banknotes from Boston, 1853. Lot includes a framed set of obsolete banknotes issued by The Cochituate Bank of Boston, MA in 1853. Set includes a one dollar note, a two dollar note, a three dollar note, a five dollar note, a ten dollar note and a fifty dollar note. Each banknote is hand signed. It appears as though each banknote is glued or mounted to a wooden backer. Each banknote measures 6 7/8′ × 3′. Frame measures 13 1/4′ × 26 3/4′ × 3/4’.
