This New Globe of the Earth correctly laid down according to ye best Observations & Latest Discoveries is most Humbly Inscribed By His Majesty’s most dutiful and obliged Subject and Servant D Adams. Made by D Adams only Mathematical Instrument Maker London: Charing Cross, 1792.’
The globe of 12 engraved gores, hand-colored in outline. Mounted on a tripod Georgian mahogany globe stand. Originally would have also held a compass set into the base.

Condition
- some paper loss and significant yellowing, a crack to the Zodiac and calendar ring at top of the globe table, and as noted, does not retain its original compass.
