A 1951 Rookwood Pottery owl ash receiver. The ash receiver is in a light madder gloss glaze, with an owl perched to the left back of the organically shaped bowl. The ash receiver is marked to the verso with the impressed Rookwood Pottery flame logo, Roman numeral LI, and production number 1084.
