For more than 20 years, Jonathan and Jamie Ward have been revisiting classic automobile design in a modern context, hand-restoring iconic models with mechanical and aesthetic elements that make them irresistible to collectors and adventurers alike. Based on the original Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 40, this ICON FJ 12 was built in February 2008 for actress Angie Harmon and is for sale exclusively through EBTH.
Body
5/32” thick 5052 H32 aluminum body built by hand to capture original Land Cruiser character, but with greater resistance to the elements. Finished in a Teflon polyester hybrid and durable Cardinal powder coat, developed specifically for the ICON.
Wheels
BF Goodrich A/T or M/T 285/70/R17 tires standard. American Racing Teflon coated 17”x 8” ATX Mojave wheels.
Interior
Polyurea floor surface coating. Seats upholstered in a combination of top quality OE German marine rated vinyl and woven Chilewich.
