Entertaining with Habitually Chic

Manhattan’s downtown brasserie Lafayette was the setting for an intimate dinner with designers, editors and aesthetes who gathered to celebrate Habitually Chic and EBTH on a brisk September evening. Hosting the candlelit affair was Heather Clawson, whose classic, elevated and Parisian-influenced point of view comes to life on her blog, Habitually Chic, through art, travel, fashion and interiors. To create the evening’s ambiance, Clawson drew from autumnal palettes to direct floral design and dove into EBTH’s pages to source her favorite pieces for an elevated and unexpected tablescape. Among them? French china with pale borders and gilded trim, brass candlesticks, and long stem gold rimmed crystal (she also sent each guest home with a linen napkin bearing his or her monogram). Inspired by her expert eye and the enchanting atmosphere she created, we curated a tablescape boutique so you can shop the look.
